Mamalove Mambo — E-commerce Redesign
E-commerce redesign focused on brand identity and community.
Role:
Product Designer
E-commerce UX & Brand Expression
Fashion / Retail

Project Overview
Mamalove Mambo is an independent fashion brand from Argentina known for its bold, urban aesthetic and strong community around it.
The original website worked functionally but didn’t fully reflect the brand’s personality or the connection with its audience. Many of the photos used across the store actually come from real customers styling the clothes, which is a big part of the brand’s identity.
The goal of the redesign was to bring that energy into the digital experience — making the site feel more expressive, community-driven and easier to browse.
The Problem
The existing site felt generic and didn’t communicate what makes the brand special.
The visual language didn’t reflect the urban aesthetic
Community content wasn’t highlighted
Navigation and product discovery could be clearer
The brand personality was getting lost
Approach
The redesign focused on bringing the brand attitude and community to the forefront.
I explored a more editorial layout, stronger imagery and clearer product hierarchy to make the shopping experience feel more dynamic while still simple to use.
Community photos became a key visual element to reinforce authenticity and make customers feel part of the brand.
My Role
UX/UI Design
Redesigned the full e-commerce experience.
Visual Direction
Defined a more expressive layout and imagery style aligned with the brand.
Product Structure
Improved navigation, product discovery and category browsing.
Reflection
This project started as an exploration around access to education and digital spaces for open conversation.
It became a way to experiment with designing products around sensitive topics while keeping the experience respectful, clear and engaging.
